Hank H I had the ice maker in my Whirlpool refrigerator replaced 2 yrs ago Now My problem seems to be that the water does not flow into the ice tray but is splashing into the Ice bin storage and freeze what can you tell to have it fixed ???
Answer Hank, You will want to look for the fill cup on the icemaker and make sure that it is not frozen. If frozen then you would want to replace the water valve. If not frozen and the icemake is getting water in it, then you will want to inspect the coating on the icemaker to make sure that it is not deteriorating.
