Bjv for Model Number Maytag refrigerator, Model RTF1900c Maytag icemaker quit after replacement (pro) of R.O. water system. Heard it trying, but no ice. Now it doesn't try. Water supply seems to be on, no ice dam in the chute, wire arm goes up/down as usual. No water coming in. No kinked tubing I can find. Can't verify whether the maker is not letting water in or whether there's just no water. RO ball shut off seems to be in the right position. It WAS trying, but no more. Is there a reset button like on a disposal? How can I trouble shoot my ice maker before considering replacement.
Answer BJV, You will want to check your water fill tube to the icemaker to make sure that it is not clogged. With replacement of filter on RO system water may have seeped into the water line or there may have been low water pressure which could have caused fill tube to freeze.
