Raymond for Model Number MSF22C2EXW00 I have a 6 stage RO water treatment system and the ice cubes are milky. I was told that the ice maker is a drip tray type and that this is characteristic for this type ice maker. I was also told that the fill tray type ice maker makes crystal clear ice cubes; is there a fill tray ice maker that I can retrofit into my refrigerator?
Answer Raymond, This icemaker is not a drip tray style icemaker. It is a mold fill tray. Milky cubes would represent that the water coming in is not pure like it is not hooked up to the RO system. Not aware of any type of drip tray style icemakers other than icemachines would be considered that style because they run the water across an evaporator to freeze the water. Read More...
