It is 16 years old and it was fortunate that we were not qway on vacation, or could haved had serious. Shoud these plastic tubes be replaced due to age. Thanks Richard
Answer Richard, There was not type of adhesive for the water tube. If the water tube is not brittle then it can still be used. The most common cause of the water tube popping out of the fill tube is the fill tube being frozen. You will want to check this and if it is then you will need to replace the water valve which is seeping. If the fill tube is frozen clear and you can reinsert the water tube back into the fill tube. The clamp that is on it helps to keep the tube in place unless the fill tube is frozen and pressure causes it to pop loose. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, March 26, 2013
