Cliff W for Model Number MSD2756gew Maytag I ordered a replacement Ice maker and all the instructions say to loosen two 1/4 inch bolts on top of the ice maker There is a bracket holding it in not bolts I cannot figure out how to remove the old ice maker. It is hard to see I have to hold a mirror in the freezer to see the mounting. Does Maytag have a different mounting on some of the ice makers. Model MSD2756gew Serial no. 23784192CE
Answer Cliff, There is a screw underneath the icemaker that you remove. Once removed you will pull the icemaker toward right freezer wall from the bottom.
