Jburke for Model Number ET8CHMXKTO4 6 months ago the ice maker stopped making ice. I unplugged the refrigerator & turned off the water coming to it. I removed the part on the back, bottom right corner where the water line connects. I cleaned the part and put it back on. The ice maker worked for the past 6 months until 4 days ago, when it stopped again. What do you think the problem is? Thank you.
Answer Hello Jburke. Check and see if the fill tube is frozen on the unit. If so, you will want to make sure the temp in the freezer is 0° and that the water valve does not have a slow leak.
