Brett42 I just replaced out ice maker (D7824706Q). The water fills and freezes, but the motor isn't turning to drop the new cubes. Is the new ice maker faulty or am I missing something? We re-used the wire harness D7813010, cover W10289690, and shut off bail arm order 67004028.
Answer Brett, You will want to check to make sure that the temp in the freezer compartment if below 10 degrees. The ice can freeze in the mold but if the temp does not get low enough to allow the thermostat to close then the icemaker will never cycle. Read More...
