Kim for Model Number PYE2300ayw Problem I'm having is one of these idler wheels squeaks on the drum until it warms up, or at least runs for about 3-4 minutes. It isn't the bushing squeaking because I've sprayed WD40 on the drum attempting to find the cause, and it is the rubber making the noise because it does stop until the WD40 is rubbed away. There appears to be no wear on the rubber, and only one of the idlers is making the noise. Could it simply be the rubber is dried out causing the noise? I have cleaned the part of the drum the idler runs in, and that made no difference.
Answer Hello Kim. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the lube in the bushing is gone, and you will need to replace the rollers WP31001096. If the rubber or the lube is bad, the unit does squeak until it gets hot. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 25, 2011
