Jack for Model Number LG wm3431hs I have this w/d combo unit. trying to replace missing or nearly stripped screws. I bought it used and it shake/vibrates. I probably need to replace the bearings but I want to start with the screws. What I have is this bronze phillips head screw with a flat end. It seems to be the only screw used inside the cabinet. Can't find it anywhere. LG sent me to a Pacific coast parts provider. The woman on the phone said she had no idea what I was talking about. The other screw is galvanized and goes on the back panel to affix it to the cabinet. I looks like a hexagonal head that has been machined onto a washer. Both screws are approx3/4" Can you help?
Answer Jack, Unfortunately the screws would not be available and that is why they sent you to the company they did. The unit shaking around would not be caused by screws. It would be recommended to pull the tub and check the flange on the back of the inner tub to make sure that the flange is not broken. Another symptom of this would be white or grayish shavings at the front of the tub in some cases. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, September 15, 2016
