For Whirlpool Screw (Part Number: OEM9102339)

Jack for Model Number LG wm3431hs

I have this w/d combo unit. trying to replace missing or nearly stripped screws. I bought it used and it shake/vibrates. I probably need to replace the bearings but I want to start with the screws. What I have is this bronze phillips head screw with a flat end. It seems to be the only screw used inside the cabinet. Can't find it anywhere. LG sent me to a Pacific coast parts provider. The woman on the phone said she had no idea what I was talking about. The other screw is galvanized and goes on the back panel to affix it to the cabinet. I looks like a hexagonal head that has been machined onto a washer. Both screws are approx3/4" Can you help?

Jack, Unfortunately the screws would not be available and that is why they sent you to the company they did. The unit shaking around would not be caused by screws. It would be recommended to pull the tub and check the flange on the back of the inner tub to make sure that the flange is not broken. Another symptom of this would be white or grayish shavings at the front of the tub in some cases.

Hello Bob. Sorry, the manufacturer does not offer us the size of the screw. You will need to contact the manufacture for the size of the screw. The one needed R0713661 has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.

George, You will want to check to make sure that there is power coming off the control board to go to the transformer. There should be 120 vac there. You will also want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac to the fan motor when the fan selection is depressed. If there is not voltage out to these components then the control board is faulty.
