Peter for Model Number Whirlpool Cabrio Gas Dryer WGD6200SW2 Our Whirlpool Cabrio dryer stopped drying, no "F" variable service codes. Control panel are on but stays at 40 minutes w/ sensing illuminated. Have tried to unplugging, get a "PF" press start and it recycles to 40 min sensing. Does interior Pad Sensor # 8576468 need replacement or is there something else? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Peter
Answer Hello Peter. You need to check for a bad belt, thermal fuse, and door switch on the unit. If all 3 are good, you will want to replace the main board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
