John for Model Number Whirlpool WGD 6400 SWO Hello, When set in the automatic mode, this dryer is suppose to sense when the clothes are dry and shut off, based upon heat setting. It does shut off, but the clothes are still damp. Starting it again, it does the same thing in approximately the same amount of time, with the load still being damp, although less. Eventually, you'd get the load dry if you continued in this manner. Drying the load on a timed cycle works fine. Would part no. AP3083393 be the culprit or is there another solution to the problem?
