Jarhead for Model Number GI15NDXXS1 I have a Whirlpool GI15NDXXS1 under counter ice maker. It stopped filling with water recently, so I changed out the valve (Valve WPW10340983 / AP6019930) and it didn't work. I then tried the sensor (Sensor WPW10548509 / AP6022829) and it still does not fill with water. I don't know what else to try at this point. I know just because the part is new does not mean it is good. the sensor is reading 10.2 Ohm so I think that is good. Any suggestions?
Answer Jarhead, Check to make sure that the water line is not frozen between the valve and the reservoir. If it is not then test to make sure that there is 120 Vac getting to the valve when it is supposed to fill with water. If it is not then the issue will be with the control board. Read More...
