Art, You may want to check for voltage at the element, before you replace a ERC/Clock 31949201 or a broken wire. the high limit switch, under the cooktop may have "stuck" open or failed. You'll need to be careful conducting live voltage tests, the Red wire attached to the bake element terminal should have 120 VAC as long as power is applied to the range and the high limit switch is "closed" . The Yellow wire will have 120 VAC when the oven is programmed to a bake mode. unless the bake relay has failed or there's a broken Yellow wire. Make sure you remove one of the wires from the element so you don't get a false reading.
