1 Answer Shannon, The temperature sensor for this model range will be part number WPY0314907. Read More...
Dusty July 19, 2023 for Model Number acs3350as0 Set oven to 350 but after 35 minutes it is not heated to that.
1 Answer Dusty, Test the temperature sensor for a resistance of 1090 ohms at room temp and if is not correct then it would need to be replaced. Also, look into whether the burner is coming on as it could be the igniter glows but no gasflow into the burner. Read More...
Art August 16, 2013 for Model Number ACS7270AS When set to bake, the element doesnt heat up. It stays at 100 and the thermostat clicks in and out. The convection baking works fine (it uses the broiler element) Im assuming both use the same temp. sensor so Im guessing its not that.. I checked the element for continuity and its not open. What next.. the ERC? Thanks, Art
1 Answer Art, You may want to check for voltage at the element, before you replace a ERC/Clock 31949201 or a broken wire. the high limit switch, under the cooktop may have "stuck" open or failed. You'll need to be careful conducting live voltage tests, the Red wire attached to the bake element terminal should have 120 VAC as long as power is applied to the range and the high limit switch is "closed" . The Yellow wire will have 120 VAC when the oven is programmed to a bake mode. unless the bake relay has failed or there's a broken Yellow wire. Make sure you remove one of the wires from the element so you don't get a false reading. Read More...
Terry August 26, 2012 for Model Number acs4250ac My oven won't heat up. I've already changed the oven bake element.
1 Answer Hello Terry, I would first dis-continue power to the unit, raise the top and look near the back for the high limit thermostat Y0316699. From the parts explosion this is where it is located, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were actually mounted on the back, since this is where most of these are mounted. If it tests good, you should check for 240Vac at the terminal block. Next go to the control and check from L1 to L2 for 240Vac. If it is present there, the control Y0315570 has probably had a relay on it to fail. Read More...
