Arthur for Model Number GHW9250ML0 whirlpool duet washer Error code F05. I checked ohms on temp sensor. Meter read open. Replaced sensor still got code f05 took reading on new sensor that reads open too. Should I get some resistance reading?
Answer Hello Arthur. You can not test the sensor for continuity. It is tested for ohms. At room temp it should be around 10K ohms. It sounds like the sensor is not the issue. Check the element. If it is good, and the wiring is good, replace the board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
