I opened the back and the wire connecting to the wire harness had severed and I attempted to strip the harness and insert the wire back in but the harness seems to be crimped and does not allow me to put the wire back into the harness. Answer Hello Eric, I'm sorry but if you cannot replace the connectors for the sensor with two 1/4 inch spade connectors to reconnect them, you will have to purchase the complete lower wiring harness for the unit.
