Kit for Model Number WFW8410SW01 Our Whirlpool Duet has error F24 which looks to be a water sensor issue. When we removed the back cover, one of the wires had come out of the white wire harness. How can you re-insert the wire into the white harness. The other wire is still snuggly attached. It isn’t very obvious how to do that but that appears to be the problem for the F24 error code.
Answer Hello Kit, yes the open water temp sensor circuit will cause a F24 fault code and will prevent start up. The loose wire will need to be reconnected, as the main wire harness is no longer available. If the wire end that connects to the sensor is broken a new terminal can be added, it the other end of the wire came out other rest of the main wire harness it will need to be spliced back in.
