Walter for Model Number WFW9200SQA10

My washer has been stopping during running or not starting at all, pressing the start button it just beeps. No error codes are showing, the time just blinks and door unlocks. It will run for a week without a problem and then it wont start. Have unplugged without help, sometimes opening and closing door helps, or rotating the tub or just get lucky and it starts. Sometimes it makes it 5 minutes into the cycle other times it makes it 50 minutes into the cycle. Replaced the door lock assembly, same issue.

Answer

Walter, It sounds like a possible control not detecting the door lock occasionally or even possibly an MCU failure. We will send you a copy to run through some tests. When the machine pauses in the test record the number of which test and that will be your area of trouble. If the tests are complete then it's more than likely the CCU which is part number W10115079 but unfortunately has been discontinued.
