Paul for Model Number WFE540H0ES0 Have had an issue the last 2 times using oven pre heat to 350, put items in and burnt within a few minutes I had convect bake on the second time , and bake on the first time I noticed the top element on and top of the range felt hotter than usual. Thanks.
Answer Paul, with the power cord unplugged, the broil element W11321472 and the bake element W10779716 would need to be tested for continuity to the oven frame. If there is continuity on either element, that part would need to be replaced. If there is no continuity, the oven sensor W10833885 would need to be tested for resistance and it should measure around 1100 Ohms at room temperature while increasing 2 Ohms for every 1 degree in temperature that it gets warmer.
