Hello Bob, This sounds like you have a bad electrical connection. I would have a licensed electrician check the junction box where the power supply to the unit is connected (usually in the cabinet above, behind, or below the unit). There is a good possibility that you have a wire nut melting inside the junction box. There is also the possibility of a bad breaker or connection to the breaker. The only time the PF code will flash is when the power is discontinued to the control, even momentarily. I'm confident that the problem is an electrical connection losing continuity. It could even be inside the unit, behind the control board on the terminal block.
