Troy for Model Number WDF530PAYB3 I have replaced the heating element in my washer and double checked to assure there was current running through it. However the sanitize light still blinks and the element still will not heat up. What is next?
Answer Troy, The Sanitized light blinking would be caused by an issue with one of the following issues: 1.Door opened during final rinse or dry. 2. Incoming water too cold. 3. Heating problem 4. Thermistor/OWI sensor problem. 5. Intermittent door switch/ latch connection. 6.Diverter problem prevented water from heating in final rinse (plastic tub models only). 7. Line voltage too low to heat fast and .enough. 8.Air pressure surges in dishwasher due to washing with high suds causes brief opening of door switch contacts during final rinse. In some of these you will need to refer to the tech sheet to check the service error codes table. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, November 23, 2016
