Steve for Model Number WDT910SAYH3 Dishwasher will not run wash pump on Normal, Heavy or Sensor cycles. Unit starts cycle by draining, filling tub and briefly running wash pump. Then it pauses like it is waiting for the water to heat up and never runs the wash pump again for the rest of the cycle. The rest of the cycle functions still happen. The detergent door opens, the water drains and the drying cycle runs. If I run the Quick Wash cycle, everything works as it should. I had a 7-1 code, so I did all of the suggested diagnostic checks, which all checked out fine, so I replaced the Control Board which was the last action suggested by the troubleshooting guide. The unit still acts the same with the new control board. I have run through several diagnostic cycles. Occasionally, it will give me a 6-4 code for the float switch, but usually gives me no fault codes. I have been told that the issue is likely the electrical connection to the wash motor, but I can't understand how that would allow it to always work on quick wash cycle. Could I have a different sensor or switch failed that would allow the unit to function this way?
Answer Hello Steve, Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board W10595569 is bad and will need to be replaced. Thanks. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 2, 2018
