Trace for Model Number Whirlpool Quiet Partner I I'm having an intermittent issue where when I run a wash cycle, the dishwasher will start normally, and then anywhere from 20 seconds to 10 minutes later it will stop, and the Start button will be blinking, and there will be about 2 inches of water in the bottom of the dishwasher. If I hit the Drain/Cancel button, it drains normally, so it's definitely not a clog. Sometimes the soap has been dispensed, sometimes not. I have checked to make sure the dishwasher is not overloaded and nothing is blocking the spinning components, and give the door a little extra push to make sure it's fully sealed, but the issue continues to happen off and on. I ran diagnostics and got the 3-3 error indication (3 flashes, pause, 3 more flashes) which refers to the optical water indicator/turbidity sensor. I have never done more complicated hands on appliance repair than untangle a VHS tape that got eaten. Is this something that I can replace easily myself?
Answer Trace, the turbidity sensor is easily changed out by accessing underneath the dishwasher. It will sit directly on the sump housing and will twist out. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 25, 2019
