Rob for Model Number WDT710PAYM4 My dishes do not wash all the way as it does not keep the water heated on the wash cycle and the dishes do not dry. I have changed the heating element already same thing. My hot water line coming in is fine. Just one day this started happening. Any thoughts on what it would be next?
Answer Rob, you may want to test the turbidity sensor WPW10705575 as it is responsible for sensing the water temperature. If you disconnect power from the dishwasher, you can test the turbidity sensor at connection P12 of the control board. From pin 1 to pin 3, you should get a resistance reading between 46 to 52 KOhms. If the resistance is not within this range, then you will need to replace the sensor. If the sensor tests good, and the high limit thermostat WP661566 tests for continuity, then the main control [W10597041] would be the most likely cause. Read More...
