Lisa for Model Number GU2275xtvy We have a whirlpool dishwasher that we tried to mount to the laminate countertop. The screws stripped out due to previous installation. How can we mount the dishwasher. Do we need a trim kit? If so, can you suggest the kind we need?
Answer Lisa, Yes, you could use the side mount bracket kit for your dishwasher(based on the info I have). You may also want to consider attaching a scrap block/strip of wood to the inside underside of the counter top (hot glue , carpenters glue works well) and use a larger shank screw to mount the dishwasher to the cabinet, make sure the top bracket is as close the the conter top as possible.
