Jim for Model Number DU1055XTVQ5 I have a granite countertop. So I need to use the side mount bracket 8212560 from whirlpool. I see the slots in the metal frame where the brackets are supposed to clip into. However there are no pre-drilled holes in the sides of the plastic cabinet of my dishwasher. Am I supposed to drill my own holes? How do I cover them to prevent leaks later?
Answer Jim, the unit should not need any holes drilled as the brackets should be far enough towards the front that screws should just miss the frame.
