Thomas for Model Number SVD8310S When I turn on the gas, I can hear the clicking and see a spark, but the burner will not light. I have to turn on both the front and rear burners and then they usually both ignite. I then turn off the burner I don't need to use. What causes this and can I fix it?
Answer Thomas, You will want to find the spark igniter for the burner in question and watch where the spark goes. If it sparks closer to the bottom you have a cracked spark ignitor. If it is consistent and sparks at the top and towards the burner head then i think a good cleaning with a stiff bristle brush on the burner head should do the trick. Read More...
