Rachel for Model Number MAYTAG CSG5600CAL Hi, wondering if you can help me. I came home today to find all 4 burners constantly clicking. I turned them on thinking it would reset them and it would stop but it didnt. I had to unplug the cooktop. We took the top off and plugged it back in, checked all the wires, the clicking continued and it seems to be coming from the white box, could the spark module need to be replaced?
Answer Hello Rachel. If the switches on the cook top are good, then the spark module 12001596 could be the problem. Make sure the switches WP7403P367-60 are not sending power to the module. If not, you will need to replace the spark module. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
