Answer Hi Wayne. There can be a couple of device's involved. Commonly, the ignitor part # 74007498 may open so the gas valve wont emit gas. It should read 75-800 ohms cold with an ohm meter. If it is OK and not open in the middle, then the Safety Valve part # WP74009891 is defective not allowing gas to flow. Thank you. Read More...
