After removing the burners, drain plates and knobs, I thought that the glass top AP204553 was held in place by double sided tape AP4012547 and I'll have to pry it apart, which increases the risk of cracking it. If I remove the whole cook top from the counter and put it upside down, there doesn't seem to be a bracket on the cavity AP296465 (item 7) that would hold and screw into AP204553 glass top. Thanks
Answer Hi Nick. It will be the best way is to cut through the old tape part # 12400021. Do not take a chance on prying the glass loose.
