Aaron M for Model Number LNC6762B71 Series 19 My washer will spin on a low speed but when it comes time for it to really spin fast it wont but it acts like it wants to. I looked under the washer and messed with the belt and their is alot of slack in the belt it moves around when I pull on it. And does it have a motor spring if so how do you check it?
Answer Hello Aaron. It is normal for the motor to move and the belt to be loose. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the thrust bearing 12002213 is bad and will need to be replaced. Turn the large pulley by hand and make sure the mark on the pull and cam, when reached, releases the brake. if not, replace the kit 12002213. Read More...
