Sarah for Model Number LTG5243DQ6 My washer was inadvertently run off balance for a long period of time, and the tub unseated from the back left suspension spring. I've figured out how to open the lid and reseat the tub back onto the spring so that the washer is usable, but it now comes off balance at the drop of the hat, and have to get in there and reseat it often. Is there a more permanent fix? Would replacing this spring or the smaller suspension spring help? I've called several appliance repair places and no one seems to want to touch this one....
Answer Hi Marylin. There are 3 suspension springs as you mentioned. They bolt to the tub support(under the tub) and then to the bottom of the base , one by one. It may be time consuming with 2-people, But in the long run it will be for the best. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 19, 2011
