Testertea for Model Number YWFW9050XW01 I have a whirlpool washer type 832-A, model YWFW9050XW01 and dryer type CHZN-ELE-2406024-EL54 model YWED9050XW2. Do these need a stacking kit to be stacked? The landlord just put the dryer on top of the washing machine. He's blamed the washer's problems with me overloading the machine (I haven't) - but I'm wondering if them not being properly stacked is the true issue.
Answer Testertea, Yes , the 8572546 / 8572546 Stacking Kit, needs to be installed when stacking the washer and dryer. Sounds like there's more to it than just a stacking kit. Make sure the washer is properly leveled and installed on a good solid floor. Then install the dryer and stacking kit.
