Daniel for Model Number magic cheff CTB1521GRW My wife work fridge stop working, I defrosted plugged back in removed back cover in freezer section check sensor all connections all clear and tight. removed bottom back cover. plugged fridge back in, fan turned on, top fan in freezer running, tapped on the solenoid mounted on side of compressor, made a clicking sound freezer started to put out a little colder air. fridge part not getting cold. could the starter solenoid be the problem. the snap disk on the motor part I tapped make continuous clicking sound while running. like it is running and the kicks out. the compressor did cool down while it clicks through one cycle. should I change the solenoid on side on compressor is that the starter for the compressor?
