Garry for Model Number Jenn-Air cook top model C-301 Ordered part # AP4087111 to replace existing switch but can't figure out the purpose of the circular rubber with hole in the middle. Is there a video showing replacement of switch on a cook top stove?
Answer Hello Gary, unfortunately, there is no video for this part. The manufacturer supplies this switch as a kit, on some cooktops, there is a rubber seal that is used on the switch shaft to prevent liquids, debris from falling down onto the switch itself, if the original switch did not use one,then it is not needed.
