Manufacturer Part Number: WPW10352973

The Dispenser Actuator is an OEM part for Whirlpool washing machines. It is responsible for controlling the release of detergent and fabric softener during the wash cycle, ensuring that these cleaning agents are dispensed at the correct times.

Causes of a bad dispenser actuator can include wear and tear over time, damage from detergent residue build-up, or electrical faults within the actuator mechanism. If the actuator fails, it can disrupt the washing cycle and prevent proper dispensing of cleaning agents.

Symptoms of a bad dispenser actuator include:

  • Detergent or fabric softener not being dispensed
  • The washer displaying error codes related to the dispenser
  • Intermittent or inconsistent dispensing
  • Unusual noises during the dispensing phase

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Ben for Model Number mhwe450ww01

-washer will not cycle, and getting F32 error code -on power up, machine accepts input selections and starts cycle, but no water comes in, motor turns the drum momentarily (then stops) drain pump activates then continues to stay on. Washer seems to get stuck in the drain mode, with pump running, and will not cycle further. -as long as power remains on, pump continues to run, but machine will not respond to any inputs (will not pause or turn off) -have power (110v) -door stays locked (flashing light) What I've done; -confirmed 110V power -checked water pressure (good) , hoses (clear, unkinked) , checked inlet valve filters (clean) and tested inlet valves with multimeter (good) - they have continuity -cleaned drain pump reservoir and confirmed it pumps/ empties drum (I filled tub manually, selected drain/spin mode and it all pumped out- but pump keeps running even when tub is empty) -door stays locked -disconnected power and opened locked door with manual override -power back up and machine accepts inputs, starts cycle, but then back to the problems described above Maytag hotline says F32 is a drain issue. Any ideas? Is there a switch that should tell the pump to stop, so machine can cycle further? Would this the trigger the water inlet to add water?

Answer

Hello Ben. F32: PRESSURE SWITCH FAILURE. If there is no electrical supply to the Pressure Switch from the CCU or if the Pressure Switch contacts are worn out, then a Pressure Switch Failure is displayed. Check Pressure Switch harness for continuity. If good, replace the pressure switch.
