Once the cycle is complete, the drawer is clean, so the water is be redirected there to get the soap. Is this likely a part problem (some valve/door stuck open) or a cleaning issue? I haven't disassembled things yet -- but I've replace the door gasket so I'm not uncomfortable doing so.
Answer Fred, You forgot to attach a model number, you'll need to retrieve the tech data sheet(usually attached to the inside of the lower access pane. Remove the top panel then program the control for the Diagnostics Test and review the logged error codes, see if there are any dispenser error codes. When the test progresses to the operational test (C:00) and observe the dispenser motor, linkage and diverter to make sure it operates properly and the diverter assembly moves to the proper position,and dispenses the water to the proper compartment.
