Answer Hello Mike, The FH fault code means that the machine is not recognizing that it is filling with water. The machine has to see either 10.5 gallons in 8 minutes or, water filling the machine in the first 30 seconds. To clear the code, press pause/cancel twice. The cause of the failure can, of course, vary. The most common cause of the failure is either a bad flow switch or stopped up screens in the cold water inlet hose or the screens stopping up in the water inlet valve WP8181694. The cold water normally gives the issue since the mineral deposits and sedimentation in the hot water side normally remains in the water heater. The second most common cause is the pressure switch WPW10514214 failing or the pressure switch hose stopping up or getting a hole in it from the tubs shaking around during normal operation. The hose can also become pinched or stopped up with lint from the wash load. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, August 24, 2012
