Erik F for Model Number CVE3401B I need to replace the fan switch on a Jenn-Air CVE3401B. I have ordered the part (AP4097683), but I need instructions on how to replace it. The part description doesn't look like the part of the switch I can see from the top of the cooktop.
Answer Erik, To replace the switch you will need to pull the unit out from installation. Remove the screws from the vent area that hold the vent in place and remove the screws around the perimeter that holds the glass. This will give you access to the fan switch to replace it.
