Douglas for Model Number fubarthomas@gmail.com KitchenAid Dishwasher- KUDS30FXSS2 Water enters the float standpipe and leaks on the floor. As I watch the switch and actuator from arm below, I see the stem on the float bobbing up and down with every cycle of the spray arm. There is a square hole on the underside of one arm that directs spray towards the float. Machine cycles and water shuts off (water level is proper). When the wash cycle starts I see the float stem bob up and down and each time it taps the lever thus momentarily tripping the switch which I suspect adds a a small amount of water at each rotation of the spray arm. A the wash cycle continues, I start seeing a drip, drip, drip below the standpipe which runs down the float stem and drips onto the floor. I have seen where other people are puzzled as to the cause. The machine is very clean and without any buildup. I took a video of this which I can send upon request. Thanks.
Answer Douglas, Check the spray arms to make sure that there are no cracks or damaged that would cause this issue to occur. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, November 18, 2021
