Whirlpool W10202535 Float Switch Kit OEM Part

I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt.The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. A ten minute job and the dishwasher is back in service (for half the cost of my local parts place) While I was at it (and saved $$)I replaced some of the broken plastic clips on the plate tines.(was using twist ties as temp fix)Thanks

Replaced the water inlet valve and float switch.

Replaced both the float and switch.

Remove inner part of door, disconnect both sets of wires, lay new handle in place connect wires and replace door panel. It was that easy. The hard part was figuring out which setup to order. I guessed right! The float switch was more difficult. You had to lay on the floor and work under the unit with the screw mount on the back side. Engineer who designed that should be fired!!

I replaced the float switch and the drain pump.
