Daniel for Model Number not sure it's a kenmore top load Washer will turn on but then it will make a buzzing sound the lid will not lock, but when unplugged the lid locked. This is my son's washer I'm just trying to help him repair it how do I test to make sure it is the lid lock as this is what I think may be the problem thank you.
Answer Daniel, Unfortunately without the model number we would not be able to provide any technical information on this unit. You can get into the control panel of the unit and get the tech sheet which should have information regarding the lock assembly. It sounds like this may be a control board model and if so put the unit into diagnostics and see if there are any stored error codes. Read More...
