Reid S. for Model Number lsr8433kq0 Hello sirs, I had to disassemble my washer and now it shakes on spin, which it didn't do before. There are two little gold colored pins that look like nails with a flat on the shank, and a small hole near the point, which go through holes in the triangular base with the damper pads. I cant locate these on diagram. They have a little translucent plastic cup under them. I thought they may be shear pins to assist repair as the cup would catch the piece if they broke and fell out. I tilted the machine and one fell out, and I placed them through the two bottom holes, and the washer then shook violently; I removed the tub and saw there were three holes in a line they would fit through and placed them there but the machine still shakes. Are they needed and properly located or do you think I stretched the springs and/or do I need the friction pads replaced? Thank you in advance for your kind attention to my question.
Answer Reid, You do not want those pins in place because they are just for shipping purposes and with them being in place the unit will shake. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, June 8, 2016
