Marie for Model Number LA6910 My washer fills up with water then it make a humming sound instead of going in agitation cycle but if I mess with the lid or unplug it re plug it in sometime it works
Answer Marie, Based on the model number you supplied(Maytag A6910) the lid switch assembly would be WP22001682 You could also have a loose out of alignment lid. You may have an issue with the check switch circuit on the assembly, but, you could have a contact issue in the timer 207373, But start by replacing the lid switch assembly. Thanks Read More...
