Stephanie for Model Number LSN1000KQ0 I followed the instruction video for replacing the lid switch; however, when I put the phillip screws back in they are not holding the switch in place. The switch is loose no matter how tight I try to screw them in so when I close the lid, it's not pushing the switch far enough down to activate it. When I insert a screwdriver into the hole, the switch works. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Thanks for your help!
Answer Hello Stephanie. You need to look and see if you broke th eswitch when installing it. The screws should get tight when you install the switch 3949247V properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, January 30, 2013
