Answer Dave, the failure of the door switches can cause this failure. The freezer W11457217 and refrigerator WP2149705 door switches can be tested for voltage output when opened and the yellow wire on each switch should have 120VAC when in the open door position. From there, the top refrigerator light WPW10515058 can be tested for 12VDC output when the door is opened by testing from the red wire (with the red probe of a meter) to the yellow/red wire (with the black probe of a meter).
