George M. for Model Number LTG6234AW1 I replaced the timer per your answer to my previous question about the dryer and it still shuts off in the off position and clicks through the off postion and starts back up. I'm guessing that its the start button. Any thoughts?
Answer Hello George. You can test the push to start switch 279173 and see if it is working properly. If the switch is pressed, it should read closed for continuity. If it is not pressed, it should read open for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
