Jamar Hello, My Kenmore Dryer model number110.96060100 has power but will not start. Replaced the push to start switch and it still did not start. What else could the problem be and is it a do it yourself job like the push to start switch. Thanks for your help.
Answer Hello Jamar, You will want to check your thermal fuses to make sure that they are good. When checking the thermal fuses, unplug unit and disconnect the wires on the fuse. Check for continuity on the fuses and also on the thermostats and if no continuity then the thermal fuse is bad and needs to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
