Bob S for Model Number ED5FHEXT000 Front panel doesn't dispense water or ice. When I depress the dispensers there is no sound. Could both micro switches be bad?
Answer Bob, In the middle of the control panel there is a button for the lock and a button for the unlock, Try to push the unlock button and see if this corrects the issue. If this does not correct the issue then check the wire harness at the bottom of the door to make sure that there is no damage to the wiring. For this type of issue it would be unlikely the switches but another source causing this issue and these are the 2 main causes. Read More...
